Matthew will be teaching trombone and also performing with the world renowned Septura brass ensemble at the Lieska Festival in Finland .
Price is €200 for the masterclass course not including accommodation. It is intended primarily for professionals or music students, with most of the tuition being in groups. Masterclass students will receive tuition for three hours a day and masterclass fee includes ensemble coaching.

The festival is a Trombone dedicated festival for people of all ages that like to play, learn, and listen to the trombone. We arrange concerts, masterclasses and clinics.

Ruth Philips (cellist and performance coach)
Ruth Phillips offers tailor made retreats at her home in Provence for anyone interested in finding a more economical and enjoyable way of playing the cello. Drawing on her experience as a professional musician but also her yoga practice and mindfulness training, she specialises in people suffering from mental blocks and physical tension in practice and performance. Ruth has worked with people from the Hallé and Philharmonia orchestras, the Royal Northern College of Music and also loves working with amateurs. Individuals and small groups are welcome.
